OUR FARMING JOURNEY
Kenilworth Centre joined forces with strong and knowledgeable partners who share our vision to create and install a farm on our roof.
Together we have created an urban rooftop farm on top of Kenilworth Centre using the African Grower Hydroponic Vertical Growing system that cleverly operates on low/minimum electricity and water consumption.
The urban rooftop farm positively impacts communities and builds relations that ultimately lead to food security, skills development and job creation.

Kenilworth Centre is a regional shopping centre in the heart of Southern Suburbs in Western Cape. Over the last 49 years the mall has been developed and grown into one of Cape Town's most iconic community shopping malls serving the needs of our community since opening our doors in 1975.
